02 / INDEPENDENT HANDS-ON REPORT

Useful power.
Beyond the spec sheet.

GearLab tested the Nano II with laptops and phones. Its reviewer reported charging a MacBook Pro from the top USB-C port while all three ports were in use.

01

Two phones, one charger

The review reports simultaneous fast charging for two phones. Your device protocols still determine the result.

02

Laptop gets priority

Use the top USB-C port when sharing power. Three connected devices leave up to 40W for that port.

03

Check the socket

GearLab noted that the charger can lean in worn outlets. Use a firm socket and avoid pulling on the cables.

03 / A DAY IN YOUR BAG

Different day.
Same little powerhouse.

Build around what you actually carry. Keep the charger, change the cable kit, and leave the unnecessary bricks at home.

04 / SPEND FOR YOUR SETUP

    The smartest charger
    fits your day—and budget.

Choose a shopping budget to see what deserves priority. These are buying guidelines, not current prices for alternative products.

    01

    Phone + small essentials

    20–30W

A simpler USB-C charger may cover a phone and occasional accessories. Prioritise the right charging protocol and a dependable cable.

Best when a laptop stays at home.
    02

    Your everyday sweet spot

    65W / 3 PORTS

The 735 makes sense when a USB-C laptop, phone and an older USB-A accessory share your bag. Put the laptop on USB-C1.

One charger for a varied daily kit.
    03

    More demanding laptops

    100W+

Check the laptop’s original adapter rating. A higher-power model may suit heavy work better; inspect its shared output, not just the headline wattage.

    Prioritise workload over small size.

    05 / LOOK A LITTLE CLOSER

    Small details.
    Big everyday difference.

Explore the angled shell, the front ports and the in-bag scale. Product images show the US version; plug design varies by market.

    2C + 1A

    Keep a useful older cable

The USB-A port accommodates compatible accessories alongside your USB-C devices. Check the shared output when combining ports.

    GaN II

    Power without the bulk

Gallium nitride technology supports the compact design. Leave ventilation space and keep the charger clear of soft coverings.

    65W

    Give your cable a role

For the full 65W USB-C output, use a suitable 5A e-marked cable rated for at least 100W. Cables are sold separately.

    06 / THE RIGHT FIT

    Check three things.
    Then pack lighter.

    1. Your laptop’s power needs65W is the single-port ceiling. A laptop designed for 100W or more may charge slowly during demanding work.
    2. Your phone’s fast-charge standardCompatibility is not identical speed. Anker notes that this model does not support Samsung S22 Ultra 45W Super Fast Charging 2.0.
    3. Your plug and cablesMatch the local wall socket. Use USB-C to USB-C for compatible devices, or a suitable Lightning cable for older iPhones.

    BEFORE YOU GO

    A few useful answers.

Is 65W available on all three ports at once?

No. With all three ports used, the official maximums are 40W on USB-C1, 12W on USB-C2 and 12W on USB-A. Actual device draw can be lower.
